My Nexplanon has only made my period worse for me. The crapms have been worse. My periods last like almost the whole month bc i get them twice a month andnthey last long af. Im cramping even when im not bleeding. The cramps are just as bas as when my appendix inflamed.

I was on bc from 19-27, in the last 3 years I was really noticing how BAD it fucked up my libido. I'm also in a longterm relationship and had it in the back of my head that maybe that was just the way it is and I'm just not interested in sex anymore but I knew deep down there was no way that was the case bc I've always been somebody with a high libido. I got off of the pill because I wanted to fix that part of my life and I didn't want to have something unnatural in me anymore and it fixed it almost IMMEDIATELY after getting off lmfao. I'm 6 months off of it right now and my skin is PURGINGGG I have worse acne than I've ever had in my life but I'm trying to just stick it out and perfect my skincare routine because every other aspect of my life has improved from getting off of it!! this video was nice to see to hear that you were dealing with stubborn acne that you hadn't experienced previously and confirmed I just have to push through and eventually my skin will calm down

Just took the nexplanon out yesterday after giving it 6 months. I was bleeding for 3 weeks straight and never had a regular cycle. They had a hard time locating it so it was a traumatizing experience.

I'm very glad I haven't been on birth control. I tried it for like a month but was bad at remembering to take it. I gave up, and I have a family history of various cancers and was always nervous that the added hormones would be bad for my body. As I've gotten older, my periods are a lot more regular, and my bleeding is more prodictable. My emotions are still all over the place. But I'll take the two weeks of emotional problems versus dealing with emotional and hormonal problems all the time.
